Photo Essay: Adventures in Prague

Written by Tammy Tan; Photos courtesy of Tammy Tan

Hello readers! My name is Tammy Tan and I’m from Singapore. I’ve lived in Hong Kong for six years, but I recently moved to Shanghai. I’m planning to pursue a double major in Finance and Marketing, with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. On August 25, 2014, I left the comforts of my bed in Shanghai and travelled to Prague, Czech Republic, where I will study abroad for the next 180 days. Having lived the expat life for 18 years, I’ve grown to love uprooting myself from familiar surroundings and diving headfirst into an entirely new culture. With Prague being in the heart of Europe, I was presented with the unique opportunity to satisfy my wanderlust and deepen my geographical, cultural, and historical knowledge of the European continent. With my trusty iPhone, I’ve been attempting to provoke and intrigue in every moment that I captured – I hope that these snapshots of my travels enable you to experience the same giddy excitement that I felt upon recording these memories.
